* Home Tours: June 7-8. Saturday covers single-family dwellings on the Westside, and Sunday covers urban dwellings downtown.

The full scoop:

1. View all the available items at our online outlet.
2. Unless otherwise noted on our site, the products for purchase are considered “like-new” and were used in the home for staging only. All items are sold “as-is.”
3. All sales are final: No cancellations, returns, or exchanges on outlet purchases.
4. ***All outlet purchases must be picked up on April 6, 2008 between 1:00 pm and 5:00 pm at the Dwell NextHouse in Mountain View (515 Mountain View Ave Mountain View, CA). This is the only day/time/location open for pickup. If you are buying something rather large (i.e. the Blu Dot Small Animal Sofa), please make sure you bring an appropriate vehicle and some extra hands to help you collect the piece.

One additional DP request: Please be courteous to Dwell NextHouse neighbors when picking up items (i.e. do not block driveways, leave a mess, cause a raucous, etc.).

If you are a member of the Trade (urban planners, landscape architects, interior designers, builders, developers, real estate professionals, etc), Thursday the 27th is reserved for you. To register, check out the Dwell NextHouse information.

Saturday, March 29th, and Sunday, March 30th, the home is open to the public (kids included!). Registration is required to attend the event. Tickets are $8 if you purchase tickets online or $10 the day of. Children under 17 are free as are folks 65 and older. Have you checked out Vanessa De Vargas’s post at Turquoise about the showhouse she and her pal Jordan Cappella re-decorated? It is absolutely sumptuous! The house is Jennifer Siegel’s OMD Showhouse, a 12′x 60′ pre-fab, portable house the currently sits on Abbot Kinney in Venice California. Thanks to Vanessa and Jordan, it is full of genius interior design moves.

I simply cannot get over that genius coffee table! It is a trunk encased in lucite. That is how I think of Vanessa’s style – she takes beautiful and neglected vintage items that might be a little shabby and adds shine via lacquer, lucite, mirror, silver, elegant upholstery, etc. The sofa is upholstered in a patent leather-looking vinyl. The two designers are also miracle editors. Each piece stands out on its own, and the spareness of the rooms make the house appear twice its actual size. At the same time, it is accessorized beautifully – every piece packs a visual punch. I wish I could check this space out in person!
