Forest_COPPER_FO091_swatch-2.jpgAre you afraid to commit to a wallpaper? This post is coming to you from someone who leaves wallpaper samples thumb-tacked to her walls for years without ever even calling that great wallpaper hanger a designer friend recommended, so trust me, I completely relate. That’s why Tempaper is so brilliant. Their selections are self-adhesive and totally temporary.

So long as your walls are nice and smooth (they recommend that your surfaces that have been painted with a satin or semi-gloss finish paint, not flat for the best results), you can simply peel and stick this self-adhesive temporary wallcovering to your walls, ceilings, doors, backs of bookshelves and other DIY projects. No paste, no water, no professional required!

We have added several new brands to our site that we are very excited to share with you! Today we’re introducing Nambé. Nambé is a company that has been combining art and function since 1951. They design their pieces with timelessness in mind. If you’re ever looking for a housewarming, wedding, holiday or birthday gift for a modernist, you don’t have to look any further than Namba. From sculptural metal-plated frames to flatware, platters to wine chillers, and nativities to menorahs, there’s a beautifully handcrafted gift for every modern fan on your list. Of course, feel no shame in treating yourself — you’ll enjoy your Nambé forever and pass it along as an heirloom. Here’s just a small sampling to whet your appetite.

Nambé Cradle Salt Pepper Shakers. Opposites attract. Acacia wood and metal make a lovely pair. See, I told you Nambé pieces make for great wedding gifts!

Nambé Jazz Kettle. This piece is a great example of how Nambé’s products can fit into kitchens from traditional to ultra-contemporary. It’s beautiful lines are classic, its mix of materials is modern at its best.

Nambé Blend Bar Board with Knife. Acacia wood and stainless steel are a gorgeous combination, and the curved niche for the cutting knife is such a clever touch. Keep this on the bar to slice up your limes at G&T time.

Nambé Curvo Colander. We had no idea a colander could be so sexy before we saw this one. You won’t want to stash it away in a cabinet when it’s not in use, but rather will wind up showing it off on display somewhere.

Nambé Harmony 3 Piece Salad Set. The gorgeous curves and elegant simplicity of this bowl and tongs make it a set that will never go out of style.

Nambé Globe Candlestick Pair. There isn’t anything more romantic than candlelight, and the sinuous shape of these two candlesticks. While they appear as light as air they are sturdy and strong.
