This is what I’d like to call an “interactive DP Customer Profile.” Jennifer from New York City has graciously shared several pictures with us of her apartment. The task, should you choose to play along, is to find the following list of DP products within her photos below: an OFFI Tiki Stool, a twenty2 Gala Wallband, a CAKE Warp Bowl, a DwellStudio Motif Robin Pillow, an OFFI Duoplane DVD Shelf, and the Twinkle Living Milan Rug. Best of luck with the hunt!

Name: Jennifer

Where do you live? New York City

What do you do? Editor at a magazine

DP Purchase/s: OFFI Tiki Stool, CAKE Warp Bowl, Inhabit oxygen duvet cover (no longer available, so sad!), DwellStudio Motif Robin Pillow, various Hybrid-Home posters (many for gifts), upper playground Cat Woman Poster, twenty2 Gala Wallband, Twinkle Living Milan Rug, OFFI Duoplane DVD Shelf (used as bookshelf)

What’s your favorite DP product and why? My Milan rug. He is the “dog” that I don’t have to actually walk; when I received the package from DP everyone in my office Read the rest of this entry »

San Francisco’s Seesmic bought a few fatboys from Design Public and proceeded to waste an entire workday doing jumps. Lucky for us they caught it all on video. Um…why were we not invited? Enjoy the overall awesomeness:

I am particularly fond of viewing photos of Design Public products in action…like folks swinging on a Fatboy Headdemock, or modeling with their Vitra Nelson Clock, or dressing up their OFFI My Pet Lamp. In this case, the “action shot du jour” is of four legged friend Mr. Buddy scratching his little heart out on a Marmalade pet care Sweet Lounge Cat Bed and sitting on a Hepper Wave Pet Bed. Obviously, Mr. Buddy’s owner, Anthony, has done a might fine job of pampering his purry pal.

Where do you live? Seattle, WA

What do you do? Director of Development

DP Purchase/s: Marmalade pet care Sweet Lounge Pet Bed, Hepper Wave Pet Bed, Hepper Nest Pet Bed, Weegee Floor Lamp.

What’s your favorite DP product and why? All the cat goodies. Mr. Buddy (our cat) can’t live without them! All the items in pet stores are bland.

How would you describe your design style? Retro modern

Take a look at our Flickr friends find: Kim Gombes. I saw Kim’s photo on Flickr of her Hybrid-Home Limited Edition Print Visible Robot and knew right away that I wanted to see more. Lucky for us Kim wanted to attack the challenge of photographing the print as it glowed in the dark…AWESOME!

DP customer Mary Krefting has it made. 1.) Her oldest child, Mason (age 3), is brilliant. To Mason, a Zid Zid Poof is not just a Zid Zid Poof. Instead, it is a vast mountain for his train set to coast around. Genius! 2.) Her youngest, Sofia (age 1), is the perfect floor model to accompany a TrueModern’s Orange 4 Drawer Dresser (seen below). Well done, Mary. Well done.

True Modern Orange 4 Drawer Dresser
