When looking for inspiration for a new line of lighting, Søren Rose hit the road. In search of vintage lighting and hardware bits and bobs from the 1930s, the idea was to create a series of stylish lighting that is the sum of its parts. They searched far and wide for the most interesting antique lamps and reusable lamp parts, gathering all of their findings together, laying them out and creating something new from the old. The results are stylish forms with classic elements and finishes that give them timeless staying power. Here’s a closer look at the line for Menu, currently on sale for 15% off at Design Public.

Menu Reade Table Lamp The elegant curves of this brass table lamp create a simple yet elegant structure that sits lightly atop a desk, nightstand, counter or table. It is unobtrusive yet packs a design punch.

Menu Warren Wall Lamp. This lamp extends to the spot where you need light. If you’re short on space next to the bed, it will provide lovely reading light from overhead without taking up much space. The brass hides the cords so that you can plug it in stylishly without having to hard-wire it.
