Do you like what you see above? Me too. This is the MASH studios LAX series storage platform bed. If you’re a fanatic about modern design you’ll not only like this platform bed for it’s simplistic appearance but also love the fact that there are 8 built-in rolling drawers. Say goodbye to scary under-the-bed chaos!

Now, if this were my platform bed, those drawers would be filled with various items. PAJAMAS, duh! My second thought was that every time I put shoes on while getting ready I’m sitting on my bed so I would definitely relocate my sock drawer. For the days I plan to workout at 5am (ha!) I’d have a drawer filled with exercise clothes. Some other items I thought would be helpful to have bedside are extra blankets, medicine and a flashlight. As you can see, this platform bed will free up space in your closet and dresser and help make your life more convenient and organized!

Also, this platform bed can fit a queen size mattress with a little over-hang as seen in the picture, but has a major bonus for all of you leggy-types – it also fits a California King mattress! Of course, then you won’t have the sexy platform surrounding the bed but hey – you can’t have it all!

Each drawer is 22 inches long—that’s 4 drawers on each side that are almost 2 feet long. That’s seriously like having 2 extra dressers worth of storage! You won’t know what to do with so much room!

For all of you design buffs, we have an exclusive bonus for you – the first 10 of these gorgeous storage platform beds that we sell will be signed by the designer himself – making this piece a collectors item!

Go check out the MASH Studios storage platform bed and get one for yourself before Spring cleaning sneaks up on you!

I would fill them with clothes. I have way to many clothes!

I would fill this bed with PJs, socks, underwear (is that TMI?) and some of my daughter’s stuffed animals – it would be fun to bring them out when we were cuddling!

Non-seasonal clothes, of course! I live in an itsy apartment, so I have to rotate my clothes by season to give everyone enough room. This would be a genius space-saver and make my place look very adult (currently, my bed is on the ground because my nut of a cat likes to bury UP into the mattress springs).

All that storage is perfect for sweaters and jeans – bulk stuff that I want to get out of my closet.

This platform bed would be perfect for the master bedroom of my boyfriend and my new apartment! Right now, his super-comfy mattress is sitting on the floor, and we have like, no storage yet! I’d put his nice mattress on the platform and probably stuff his dirty work clothes into the drawers so they would no longer be such an eyesore in our beautiful room! It wouldn’t solve all of our storage issues, but it would be a great start! =)

I’d use them to store bedlinens, including extra blankets and comforters for when it’s cold. They’d also be a convenient place to store pajamas.

Would love a space like that for our seasonal clothes, especially wool socks! We have so many pairs of wool socks and nowhere to put them…

I would store off season clothing in there. It would free up a lot of space in our closets! I’d probably have some blankets in there too.

    Starting from far left

    >> Drawer #1 – Pillow Covers
    >> Drawer #2 – Duvet Cover Sheets
    >> Drawer #3 – Mattress Cover Sheets
    >> Drawer #4 towards the wall – magazines, books, diary, tissues

  17. Kelly says:

I would fill the drawers with shoes! Also some sheets. But mostly shoes!

  18. Jason says:

Pretty lame but I would use the drawers for storing linens and maybe some books. Love that bed!!!

  20. Winnie says:

Our extra bedroom is now going to be a nursery, so we would use it as extra storage for everything in that room.

A flashlight, a cell phone, a model 1911, a few extra magazines, and some cuffs all on a good belt with good leather would be great in one of the drawers for when you hear something go bump in the night. Some good books and an extra blanket would be nice in some of the other drawers. A notepad and pen for those late night inspirations that you should try to write down before you fall asleep and forget them would also be good in another drawer. The TV remote control should also be in one of the drawers so you can flip on/off the TV from bed.

  22. Jason says:

    February 13th, 2012 at 8:22 pm (#)

I’d definitely fill it with wrapping paper and other fun holiday stuff!

  23. Laura says:

First, the drawer closest to my head would be filled with random stuff – all of the little things that I think I need close at hand – chap stick, pens, books, paper, probably some keys, chargers for my phone, blue tooth, etc. Then, I’d have socks, shoes (flats, trainers, the type of shoes that I can slip on when taking the dog out a o-dark-thirty). I’d try and be clever and make the one a the end for dirty clothes, just to realize that I can’t do my laundry that often, and resort to the old throw it in the laundry room instead. So, then I’d switch to clean clothes. Also, a drawer for the other sets of sheets. And, one for a big winter quilt. Now I really want the bed.

I could store seasonal clothes! Love this bed!

  25. Patty says:

I would store linens in this beautiful bed (I don’t have a linen closet…booo!) Also, seasonal clothes.

Oh, magazines, books, pens, etc. would be very convenient in the drawers at the head of the bed. Love it!

I Love Mash Studio’s they are so inventive!
This Bed is not only a great looking design but with all that storage space is a bonus for any bedroom…
If this were in our room it would be filled with our p.j’s, winter sweaters and extra sheets/bedding.

I love that these storage beds are popping up at all different price points. First, it would save the scary undercarriage of my bed from becoming a Bermuda triangle for single socks, cat toys and pacifiers. Plus, cut down on the dust bunnies! I’d fill them PJs and pants mostly. Things that get bulky in my longer dresser drawers.

  37. Jennifer says:

I would put clothes under the bed, maybe I wouldn’t even need a dresser anymore.

It would be so nice to not have ugly plastic bins under my bed! I would definitely use the space for my sweaters, all my different pairs of tights and socks, and my shoes… but I don’t know if I have enough shoes to fill up the drawers-I would have to buy more shoes then-that’s a good excuse!
