I love Christina Applegate, Maya Rudolph and GOB Bluth, I mean, Will Arnett, and their new show Up All Night is hilarious. I also love seeing the work of set designers, and how the sets tell us about the characters. Apparently, they are into Case Study Houses and Richard Neutra (see bottom right corner). With a new baby in the house, these tomes don’t stand a chance of keeping that prime position on the coffee table!

Fall is upon us, and it’s time to look to the changing leaves for color inspiration: Brilliant yellows, burn oranges, warm wood tones, crispy crimsons, and even a pumpkin image here and there. Here are a few favorite items we have available to get the look.

I have plans to take a little artwalk with a friend today on Atlanta’s Beltline. I was planning on bringing my camera, but it seems better photogs than I have been sharing their work so I thought I’d direct you to it as well. Here’s just a little sample of what’s going on during this early phase of Beltline construction:

We’re thrilled to announce that Julie T. from Mount Pleasant, Michigan is he winner of our most recent Design In Action Photo contest. Julie sent us a picture of her and your new DwellStudio Transportation Shower Curtain and well, we just think it’s ducky. (That’s her daughter Polly at the bottom of the pic – cute!)
Julie’s been awarded a sizable Design Public gift certificate as well as all the fame and accolades that come with having your picture posted to the Design Public blog and newsletter. Julie, don’t be surprised if people start stopping you in line at the grocery store or asking for your autograph at the dentist’s office.
What the…?

As school gets back into gear and there’s a crispness in the air, I’ve been inspired to purge the excess stuff from my home and keep things organized. I printed out this image and stuck it in my organization folder. It must be a great feeling at the end of the week when one can look at Friday and then look back at the earlier days of the week, realizing all of the crossed off accomplishments on the boards! Thanks to Flickr member anneclaire24 for posting this in our Fresh New Spaces Group.

Have you been working hard around your home and want to show it off? Please post it to our group!
