Philip Johnson’s first commission is on the market in Bedford New York. It’s a cool $2 million, but it’s certainly a show stopper! For more information, click here.

Joined the boys for burgers and beers at Primehouse last night — supposedly one of the best burgers in NYC. Needless to say, Primehouse did not disappoint.

Now THAT'S a tasty burger!
I had to divide and conquer this beast as I couldn’t fit it into my mouth in a civilized manner otherwise. Likewise, I shelved the paleo / low-carb diet restrictions for the night and devoured the bun as well. Delicious. Sorry ’bout the blurry photo.
I’ve done Shake Shake, Royale, Back Forty and Les Halles. I’ve got my opinions, now what are your favorite NYC burger destinations?
Hat tip to Dwellstudio for the inspiration. Check out what they’re sticking their forks into here.

Well, I was thumbing through Harper’s Bazaar today and thought, now this woman is not one to just settle for a plain old zebra carpet. No sir, she needs the whole zebra:

It reminds me of Kelly Killoren Bensimon, who has this horse from the Met in the middle of her Manhattan living room:

As I was flipping through my Flickr favorite folder, I came across this piece by one of our favorite designers, Thomas Wold. To learn all about how the piece, created by found pieces, came to be, check out Thomas’s blog post about it. To shop Thomas Wold, click here.

For a bit of eye candy today, check out this slideshow of bright eye candy over at The New York Times. I’m loving this peacock blue and brick red combination in Enid Woodward’s Manhattan apartment. It’s a great example of how careful editing, curating and arranging can make a small apartment beautiful, bold colors and all.
