Oh my, I am still swimming in disorganization this week. Sometimes it’s a matter of picking a room and only thinking about that room. Sometimes it’s even just picking one cabinet or drawer in that room. For a quick fix, I need to get all the clutter off my kitchen counters into their proper places so I can give the place a wipedown and actually enjoy walking in there without feeling stress. How to motivate? Looking at some beautiful, well-organized kitchens will help with some Wednesday motivation:

Oh my gosh, I laughed so hard today when I saw this post over on the fabulous Modern Kiddo. I don’t even have kids but I read that blog because Alex and Dottie are so clever and hilarious – it always gives me a dash of happy. Those darn safety standards and insurance companies have made so many modern playgrounds SO BORING. For any of you old enough to remember the days when there was no such thing as a bike/ski/skateboarding helmet, reading their post will bring back fond (?) memories of burning your bum on a sun-drenched metal slide.

We’ve been getting reports from some people that they cannot read the blog because it’s a blue and black text/screen combo. We are investigating but we’ve checked it out in every possible semi-updated browser and so far we think it means your browser needs updating. Like REALLY needs it. Like, it needed it quite a few years ago. Of course, if your browser needs updating, you probably can’t read this right now, but we thought it was worth a try!
