It's a great excuse to buy a book that's been out awhile and has dropped in price - it's practically free, because seriously, how long were you going to let that change sit there? The key is to use said gift certificate before losing it. I enjoyed the use of different flooring techniques (hardwood and tile), on the examples you posted.
