I saw this little exchange when I was walking past Highland Hardware over the weekend, and I completely cracked up:

Meanwhile, up the street at Ace Hardware, this was going on:

By the time I read this, there really wasn’t much left to sled on, but seeing as how the AJC posted a picture of kids sledding down some grass that had frost on it the last time it “snowed” here in Atlanta, I’m sure people were still running out for sleds.

Are you snowed in? Did a few inches completely paralyze your city and did the local news preempt Oprah to dedicate an HOUR to talk about something they know nothing about, namely snow? My favorite quote was from an interview with a DOT guy who said “The thing is, we thought this here wuz gonna be a dry snow. We didn’t realize it’d be the kind of snow that makes the road wet!” Huh?

So funny! And, no, we have not had much snow at all compared to what we usually have!

I didn’t realize I missed it until we got a little. I love when it’s all quiet and muffled and no one is on the roads.

It’s snowing here in upstate NY right now as I type this, big soft beautiful flakes. I love it when it’s fresh, it’s so pretty.

Hi Charlene. Oh I love upstate NY in winter (my brother went to college in Canton, and I used to spend time in Norwich with a friend), unless I’m trying to fly into Syracuse or something! I love that fresh white snow that muffles all the noise and makes the world seem so peaceful!

    LOL ! This is hilarious..
What a great campaign to end the grafitti problem.
I went over to the tropics and missed all the snow.
The tropical heat made me really miss all the snow.
I remember as a kid going over to my grandparent’s house just so somebody allows me to ski.
@Becky: I must agree with the silence the snow brings. It gives a whole lot meaning to having a white Christmas.. lol
