While I’m thankful that our forefathers got rid of those pesky British taxes that didn’t have representation and all, I am always a sucker for a Union Jack. I think my favorite use of it lately was the quilts featured on Man Shops World by Becky Oldfield. Here are a few more dreamy shots of the U.K.’s flag I’ve been collecting lately:

How funny, one of my cushions, (the one next to the flag) appears in the photo 4 of your selection, I think the owners of this house must have bought it from Mint shop in London.

When I was a little girl all the teens at the time where wearing Britannia jeans and they had the British flag on them. I fell in love with that little flag and was obsessed with all things British for a while. That bedspread would have put me over the top.
You have such great finds. I have fallen for your blog. =]

Thanks so much Leaca! I LOVED Britannia jeans – we must be about the same age! I’m very sad about Alexander McQueen this week (kind of a non-sequitor – the Union Jack had me thinking of him).
