I just found Coastal Living on Twitter today and have whiled away about an hour after being sucked into their website. Here are the original images that got me started on my intense browsing. They make me long for the ocean:

This week’s Blu Dot at Home winner that I saw via following Blu Dot on facebook is wonderful. Couchoid is hanging out with a Strut Coffee Table in a very white room. Hey, is that some Vitra Algue hanging in the background?

Through our Fresh New Spaces Group today I found flickr member Liz and Mabel’s steal of a mid-century sleeper sofa, found on craigslist for $65:

I absolutely love this lady’s smashing style! After perusing the Liz and Mabel flickr sets I found Mabel’s House blog, and I am absolutely smitten with her trips, photography, entertaining and fresh writing. Also, this woman has got a real eye for transforming forgotten furniture pieces with colorful paint. For example, I love this big blue mirror project:

I hope everyone has had a good view of the moon this week. I was lucky enough to be on Cape Cod, where this was my view at twilight. The iPhone camera does not do it justice, as watching it reflect such a wide swath of light on the water was mesmerizing.
