I think I’ve shown you all how messy my office gets, so I have no business doling out office advice. This was my office a few years ago. It stresses me out just to look at the photo. Ugh. No wonder I never got any work done:

The only desk space in my home that works is this one, which I don’t use. It’s become a useless space  – its only function is to serve as a place to store some pens, pins, and scissors in my bedroom. I admit it:

Alright, I’ve gone a little bit off the flickr grid – my friend Lucia just posted some absolutely gorgeous photos of Best Farm on her facebook page and I wanted to share them. I believe her husband Brian took these and I felt compared to share:

I tried to research Best Farm online and found this shot. The property became part of the National Park Service in 1993, and I think this building is the same one shown above:

Does anyone know anymore about the preservation and restoration of this site? I believe it was a Civil War Battlefield in Maryland.

Fun Summer Color! I just love this charming scene from flickr member Lillian Day:

Geraniums, a floral pop pillow, a darling bench, some shade, and even the red plastic watering can make this such an inviting stoop.
