July 16th, 2009 at 4:56 pm (#)
Any of the aprons are fabulous. It’s been difficult to find aprons that are somewhere between “Kiss the Chef” foolishness and some floral number Beaver Cleaver’s mom might wear under pearls. Why is it so hard to find clever, sophisticated design in something so practical and ubiquitous? Answer: it isn’t hard anymore! Thanks!!
July 16th, 2009 at 4:57 pm (#)
Definetly chic and groovy! I have a preference for the woodblock line. It is just stylish and yet can be used every day. Nothing matches black and white.

I LOVE the Color Field placemats in Java – they look like a great piece of art right on the table under the plate. And…if someone happens to spill wine or mustard or catsup or whatever- well, then that would probably be a great addition to the artwork on the placemat!! You’ve created versatile interactive placemats and I bet you didn’t even know it!!
Best Regards, JoAnn

I like the gate coasters and napkins
July 16th, 2009 at 8:51 pm (#)
I’m digging the thicket and sketch placements. will work perfectly in the teeny dining area of house we’re hoping will be ours soon.
July 16th, 2009 at 9:01 pm (#)
I am REALLY digging the woodblocks collection!
July 16th, 2009 at 9:11 pm (#)
I love the aprons, it sure beats my SPAM freebie apron and the HOOTERS apron with the fake big boob figure a friend gave me. If I won one of these, I could entertain in style, instead of white trash cast-offs.
July 16th, 2009 at 9:16 pm (#)
I dig the placemats and can’t forget the table gate coasters.
July 16th, 2009 at 9:34 pm (#)
The Field placemats for sure – will look terrific on my dinner table: The complete collection is amazing. While I would love prize # 1 – I would be happy to win any. Love this site – great buyer
July 16th, 2009 at 9:53 pm (#)
Loving the placemats, Cocktail (s!) napkins, and the table runners! I want pillows and curtains and bedding to match!
July 16th, 2009 at 10:37 pm (#)
I really like the patterns. They add a lot of pop to your room!
July 17th, 2009 at 12:21 am (#)
The woodblock range stands out from the rest, it isn’t fussy, it’s strong, clear, slightly retro with a bit of assymetry thrown in. Yes, nice design.
July 17th, 2009 at 12:41 am (#)
Leave it to Dwell to produce new designs that meld perfectly with the mid-century modern movement. Any of the designs would be welcome on my table….especially the Woodblock pattern….it brings to mind a Motherwell print.
July 17th, 2009 at 1:33 am (#)
The Lily pattern got my attention right away, so the placements became the point of departure. But neither saffron or white would have been my 1st choice. Given the choices, I’d go with saffron, and match it with saffron pin dot napkins. Not knowing how close Sun is to Saffron side by side, I’d opt for Java (Gate coasters and cocktail napkins). Runner is not very functional, and hopefully I’m not the one cooking so no apron needed. I’m all set.

A beautiful collection of simplistic yet sophisticated designs. I am in love with your Chinoiseri print. Well done DwellStudio!
July 17th, 2009 at 4:14 am (#)
The place mats are sweet, would be great to hang as wall art. I like the pattern on the runner as well, it makes a change to the runners I see out my way.

I love them all but my absolte favourite is the DwellStudio Table Woodblock Placemats in Ink – so dramatic
July 17th, 2009 at 5:06 am (#)
Adore the aprons! love the simple, modern designs.
July 17th, 2009 at 5:08 am (#)
Table Gate cocktail napkins – just talking about getting cocktail napkins last night! Love the Gate pattern in everything (napkins, apron, placemats)
July 17th, 2009 at 5:10 am (#)
Love the line! Table Gate Coaster are great….
July 17th, 2009 at 5:20 am (#)
I love the Table Woodblock Coasters, in ink of course. An absolutely stunning graphic pattern in sharp contrast to compliment any minimal aesthetic. It would surely add any cocktail party.
While it is not my fave, I would like to give a nod to Dwell for their efforts to reference the art of the 1950′s New York School(Ab Ex and Color Field painters.) The Colorfield Placemats are a combination of Motherwell and Rothko. Well done!
July 17th, 2009 at 5:36 am (#)
LOVE the Woodblock patterned pieces!
July 17th, 2009 at 5:49 am (#)
I love the woodblock napkins and the table runner!! (The rest are pretty darned cool too!)
July 17th, 2009 at 5:51 am (#)
My favorite design is “Color Field”; both the placemats and napkins are cool. Now, if I can decide which color I like the best…
July 17th, 2009 at 5:52 am (#)
a good apron always helps me with my cooking and baking, and all of these fabulous prints would go perfectly with my 50′s mod kitchen! definitely my favorite of the line, but what great patterns & colors in all the studio products.

Table Color Field Placemats – In Ink – because they’re bold and masculine…rare for the table top but much needed for mine as they are a true reflection of, well, me. Shame you can’t witness me flexing my biceps right now…
July 17th, 2009 at 6:06 am (#)
The woodblock designs are so great. I love the aprons!
July 17th, 2009 at 6:07 am (#)

I agree…It’s very hard to pick a favorite object here…the timeless textile designs are what strike me most!
• I love anything in the gate pattern…
• I love all the woodblock placemats…
• I love the colorful and cheerful mosaic pattern on everything…
• I love the blue hue and pattern on the apron in the above photo!
Great collection for mixing and matching!

July 17th, 2009 at 8:19 am (#)
The whole collection is absolutely wonderful!
I really liked the Chinoiseries Placemats!
Different but not too overdone! It holds balanced patterns! And, it’s practical, so you can simply ornate the table and place very simple plates and glasses…
July 17th, 2009 at 8:26 am (#)
I love the Gate Collection! Anything in Saffron is fabulous, but I can not leave out the Chinoiserie… Seriously, I love Dwell.
July 17th, 2009 at 8:51 am (#)
I’m digging the Table – Thicket Placemats. They match our decor!
July 17th, 2009 at 9:01 am (#)
it’s not easy finding cloth coasters. Most are slick surfaces that stick to the bottom of the glasses. Table gate in sun looks great.
July 17th, 2009 at 9:04 am (#)
I like the Table Border Dove Napkins.
July 17th, 2009 at 9:19 am (#)

The Sketch placemats, for sure. I covet.
July 17th, 2009 at 10:43 am (#)
Oh me, oh my, sitting here I dwell, in my dwelling on which of the “Dwell” designs I find to be most appealing. It isn’t an easy decision to select just one favorite color or pattern. As there are several that strike my fancy. To choose one, I would go with “Calligraphy”, I like how the pattern displays like an optical illusion, playing with your eyes, giving it the appearance of movement and depth, a 3-D effect. As for the color, again a toss up, but I would lean toward, “Chinois Green”. All in all a very pleasing collection. Nice work!
July 17th, 2009 at 10:47 am (#)
Color field placemats. My baby’s first word will be ‘Rothko’, and not because it’s his brother’s name!
July 17th, 2009 at 11:10 am (#)
it’s the placemats for me since i have to pick only one but if i didn’t it would be pretty much the whole collection. i’m dreaming of living in a dwellstudio home! ahh, sweet dreams!
July 17th, 2009 at 12:52 pm (#)
the mosaic table runner is the very first table runner i’ve ever seen that i would like to own and look at everyday!
July 17th, 2009 at 1:17 pm (#)
mosaic pattern – in sun…soon the sun will be a memory glimmer in my cloudy Seattle mind.
July 17th, 2009 at 1:28 pm (#)
Nice — the color field placemats particularly. Like having Rothko to dinner, then seeing him go to town on the linens. Perhaps that’s all the therapy he might’ve needed. THAT would’ve been nice, too!
July 17th, 2009 at 2:25 pm (#)
Love the Color Field placemats! Big bold and unique!
July 17th, 2009 at 3:21 pm (#)
Okay, so how do you pick a favorite? I love the new table collection. I guess I would have to say the woodblock placemats in ink would be my favorite? I love this pattern! Now that you guys are doing kitchen….I think my house can be complete. DwellStudio rocks!

Love the new collection! My favorite to win would be the Java coasters, or the table runner. I love the sun collection, and when I opened up the entire collection to look at, I really liked the saffron napkins and placemats, just what I’m looking for in my formal dining.

I have to say the Gate cocktail napkins in Sun are my favorite. The shadowline makes them pop, so they look very architectural.
