The July issue of House Beautiful is a must-have; I just received it today and they really knocked it out of the park. There’s a house decorated entirely by Albert Hadley for a client he decorated for forty years ago! There’s a Miles Redd spread, there’s a focus on small spaces, there’s a fuchsia foyer, there’s a really fun step-by-step feature about an interior designer re-doing a living room in one day, and there’s a great spread of the coolest wastebaskets on the market. This issue made my entire subscription cost for the year worthwhile.

I very nearly stole my neighbour’s issue when I saw it sitting in our lobby…I think it’s time I finally get my own subscription—HB is the best american shelter mag now that domino is gone, and it really seems to have hit its stride!

it is great. just picked up a copy yesterday. the fuchsia foyer cinched the deal.
