I’ve Got the Teardown Blues, Again

Hey All!Â I’m off to a slow start on my posts this week.Â It’s hard to concentrate when this is going on next door:

Yes, the house was actually ugly, but had the potential to be renovated as the base of it had at one point been a cute 1920′s Arts and Crafts bungalow.Â Now they are building a new house that is “inches from the limit” in terms of height. Why the height limit in my neighborhood is 35 feet I will never understand.Â That is three and a half stories.Â Like these monstrosities up the street that ruin the scale of the neighborhood.Â Ugh.Â I’ve got to get the hell out of here this summer!Â Sorry to be distracted!
