I always thought it was weird too! I like the first photo with the flamingos though. :) Very cute.

New to your site and blog, but I have enjoyed looking around so far.

I miss the pink flamingos in front of the barber shop on Bull. You so lucky to have gone to Savannah. Good for you!

Yeah, I can see how tourists keeping people in business and bloggers wanting to give free publicity to a store they like sure can be a pain in the ass.

Sarcasm aside, that's why I asked first. I do HATE it when people are clicking away in restaurants and such, especially when I am in their party - it's embarrassing and annoying. I just had no idea there were all of these OTHER reasons not to allow one picture of an interior of a store.

I guess I miss the days when the customer was always right.

I lived in Savannah for 4 years and I think the no cameras policy is just because there are so many tourists.. It would just be annoying to have cameras flashing all the time.

I know it certainly drove me nuts.

Hi Becky,

Thanks for the write-up! I'm sorry to hear that some of your experiences in Savannah were less than savory. We certainly appreciate when folks ask first to take pictures, as you did.

Hope you stop by again soon!
