Haven’t heard his name in a while, but FH was quite fashionable among women’s wear apparel designers in the 80’s as I recall. How nice to see his work again. So haphazardly French, yet so chic. Can’t wait to see in Feb Vogue which is waiting for me in a pile of unopened mail. I’ll use the occasion to re-mix my own environ.

So far you all have failed at seeing the nonsense of fashion and design that is not sustainable. Too bad. When will you awaken from the materialist dream of consumtion as the basic identify of who you are?

Stephen, dude, this is a RETAIL site – you are really barking up the wrong tree about materialism and consumption when you comment on a retail site. We try to stock as many sustainable products as we can, and report about how to be ecologically responsible. I have a masters degree in landscape architecture, a major part of which which focused on ecology and environmental responsibility. Just because I love fashion doesn’t mean I can’t design a wetland that cleanses toxins from non-point source pollution. Also, last time I checked, using antiques as FH did here (i.e. USED FURNITURE being reused) is a sustainable practice.
By the way, your cliched tone sounds like that of an 8th grader going through his wearing all black everyday phase. But I’ll approve your comment and let you have your spam link in our blog.
