thanks for posting photos of our loft! we thought we would tell you just a bit about it.

we live in philadelphia in an old tire factory. our favorite parts are the huge windows that face onto train tracks, the perfect little spaces for: living, a studio and even a wood shop. all the color and finishes were added after we moved in. we rent - but just can't resist making a space ours. its a work in progress... but that's the fun part. we thrift for most of our furniture and reupholster everything ourselves. we also have a few ikea pieces and love that they are cheap enough that we don't feel guilty when we want to start over or change the way we use a space. we are inspired by mixing the function of an area with something that is a bit unexpected. we are collectors of various things but try hard to keep the loft clutter free so we always have room to bring home more (like our recent 23 piece globe collection from an old elementary school). we love brainstorming our next project and spend way to much time at home depot.
