I agree that Todd is a designer, but I feel like Kim beat him fair and square on this challenge - she really stepped up her game. Prior to this episode, I was convinced that she was a good host but had no game. I was out of town and forgot to TiVo the finale. I can't imagine drawing that out for an hour - how annoying is that? Heidi, I can imagine in the beginning of the episode where Kim has her color swatches out. I feel like it was called "Cayenne" or something like that. That would be a great feature on the HGTV website - providing resources for the viewers like a magazine would. Perhaps you should email and suggest it to them? Kim is a decorator - and frankly I was not thrilled with anything that she did. Todd is a designer. Sometimes he was a little out there but isn't that what design is all about? Even as a HGTV addict, I cannot imagine watching Kim for an entire show- but Todd would have been entertaining. Todd should have won this - no contest.

She has "IT." What she lacks in experience will come soon enough. Todd wasn't as polished in hosting, nor as capable in downright basic design. I liked him from the first because of his "extreme edge," but by the final show I was all for Kim. And, I agree, Todd's room was horrible. Gag. He should be working with Kim--what a combination!
