Chanel’s “The Apartment”

Even if you are not one of the few couture mavens lucky enough to get a private tour of Coco Chanel’s Paris apartment, you can tour it on the web. As part of their new Mademoiselle launch, Chanel has released a film called “The Apartment,” starring Kiera Knightly. Check it out here. You can scroll around and find out more about the details in the apartment tour portion. I took a sneak peak earlier this week and it’s definitely worth the online trip!

   I am so ready to move to Paris and start smoking. Kiera though was not my favorite actress to use.

   Hey Kristiina. Who would you use instead of Kiera? I was thinking maybe Natalie Portman or Selma Blair. Karl Lagerfeld tends to suck up to some people who less-than-Chanel-level style, like Lindsey Lohan. I do like Kiera’s style a lot though, I just wish she’d eat a cookie.

   I am not so tune in with the names of all the new faces, but I do think Natalie Portman has a little more flair and depth. Kiera, though cute, feels little too anxious and over doing it. And I do agree, she would look better with few extra pounds.

   Maybe Winona Ryder, as long as she doesn’t take any 5-fingered discounts while in the apartment.

   It needs to be a striking brunette who has great style without the help of Rachel Zoe. I’m so sick of her and her clients, and their similar styles, which is really her style. Talk about needing to eat a cookie…
