Here are 5 links that caught our attention this week, in no particular order:
1. SFMTA Transit Station Proposals, via Apartment Therapy San Francisco via It’s Hip, It’s Here:

Personally, I am digging this one, because it takes the local architecture into account in its design (weird, I just commented at AT NYC’s post about how a lack of site or city specific design is a problem with Cemusa’s new generic every-city shelters yesterday, then these more thoughtful SF designs showed up today). It’s nice to see all of these so crisp and clean without graffiti, scratches, and boogers all over them.
You may post your feedback to the SFMTA here.
2. Sarah over at Modern Roost spies a bicycle design trend:
3. “The Rules” post over at Bluelines (scroll down to May 18 to see this one). Inspired by a sign she saw, Contributing Editor Rory created the perfect art piece over her bed:
4. Frecklewonder’s D.I.Y. upside-down tomato plants:
5. A peak at Ford’s Airstream Mod Van thanks to mod*mom. The van is a hybrid hydrogen-electric automobile. I think the design will cause a few accidents due to gawkers when it first appears – it makes me think we are one step closer to the “space car convertible” I drew in 6th grade when asked to imagine myself in the year 2000.
Side Note: I just love it when I find new blogs via people who comment over here! Thanks mod*mom!
