“We fixin to make a fine-ass grotto!”
Over the weekend during those rare moments I put my feet up, I became hooked on “Adventures in Hollyhood” on MTV. In a nutshell, it’s a reality rap version of “The Beverly Hillbillies.” Memphis-based Oscar-winning rappers three 6 mafia move to Hollywood and are influenced and inspired by their surroundings while Ashton Kutcher produces a TV show that records it all.
After a visit to the Playboy Mansion, the guys decide that they want a Hef-ish grotto of their own, so they put their posse in charge of building one. It’s about the funniest damn thing I’ve ever seen in my life. I think I hit rewind about seventeen times just to check out the water hose in the potted tree waterfall:
(Note the garden hose that goes through the middle of everything to hide behind the plant and create the waterfall. It’s not too F-L-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y-Y)

Sadly, I know I’ve seen projects that look worse than this on real home design shows. The posse finds a new spot for the rocks after three 6 skewers their landscaping efforts:

I LOVED this show as well!! in fact you can get the DVD that has all the episodes back to back. I actually did alot of the background music for this show ( http://www.IMDB.com, search Gilde Flores) They were supposed to have season 2, but the guys wanted to put it on hold for the music, BUT!!! there is a Movie in the talks and maybe in the Works!!!
