BLU DOT HELPS APPREHEND JACK BAUER’S BROTHER ON 24!
I receive a whole lotta emails from furniture and home accessories companies. Usually, unless they are letting me know about a secret kate spade sample sale or a sale on Pantone china at fisheseddy, they go straight to my junk folder. However, a rare few are JUST RIGHT, like the newsletter from Blu Dot. It includes links to their movies, Good Design is Good examples (you can submit your own – the one featured right now is the dog head cone), and limit to the news about their products to simply fun news, like Jack Bauer’s brother being handcuffed to their Chicago 8 Bookcase on 24.* Their website is very well designed as well. I love the colors, the layout, and the content. Many of us should learn a lesson in the importance of white space on a website from Blu Dot.

*I always thought I saw those shelves in Ari’s old office on Entourage, but I was never sure.
