Hello! I’m hitting you quickly today as I have 5 relatives in town and we are about to hit the road in a periwinkle blue minivan and go to Around Back at Rocky’s Place in Dawsonville Georgia, to see some of my favorite folk artists’ work. I’ll let you know all about the place later.
Just wanted to see if anyone caught the NYTimes article “It’s Not You, It’s Your Apartment.” It is about how people ruin their chances in relationships by having stuffed animals, horrendous 1970s bedsheets, and taxidermied baby seals. Check it out – would you have relations in this bedroom? Me neither!
BTW his living room is even scarier!

Wait, what’s wrong with taxidermied baby seals?

Somewhere out there, there is someone longing for a partner who has a stuffed baby seal.

Harry – artbyharry.com
Chickenbones George – chickenbone1236 on eBay
The Georgia Red Mud Painter – eBay store
Enjoy!

Thanks so much Ali! I have a few favorite eBay sellers – Oliver’s Folk Art, Parading Chicks and Around Back at Rocky’s Place. Thanks for the info – I am a huge folk art fan, especially self-taught African American Artists. I’m pretty much out of wall space at the moment because of my habit!
