This week’s flickr photo of the week gives me flashbacks to hacking up my fingers with an exacto knife while creating endless topo models in grad school. After I found out that it’s called Erosion Sink, it reminded me of an episode of “The Flinstones” where they visit the Grand Canyon and all that is next to the sign that says “The Grand Canyon” is just a little trickle of a creek. One of them says “they say it’s going to be a really big deal one day.” The erosion sink is manufactured by Gore Design Company. Gore Design makes handcrafted eco-friendly products like sinks, cabinets and counters. Thanks so much to flickr member emikw for sharing!

Good Evening Becky,
Thank you so much for posting our sink! Here is a little more info about this particular design:
Each Erosion Sink is 100% custom, completely unique, with more than 40
hours spent on creating just the sink portion itself. Erosion Sink pricing is determined by the overall size of the countertop, sink, color, edge detail, inlays, etc. Because each sink is custom, there are no set dimensions; we build according to the space.
Shipping costs are dependent upon the final size of the piece and exact location, but we charge the client our actual cost for crating and freight, with no markup.
Should anyone have any questions or need a quote, feel free to email me at brandon@goredesignco.com.
Again, thank you for posting our sink!
