Will You Be Checking Out Top Design?

I am totally excited for Top Design tonight! The premiere episode will air tonight at 11 EST on Bravo. Hopefully this will fill the hole that Project Runway’s hiatus has left behind. I have missed Todd Oldham on TV ever since the end of "Todd Time" on the Cindy Crawford days of MTV House of Style. Am I totally showing my age or what? Anyway, he was always full of nifty thrifty funky ideas for home decor. The judges are top notch as well – Jonathan Adler, Kelly Wearstler and Margaret Russell (editor-in-chief of Elle Decor) will join Todd.
I don’t think it will be hard to top HGTV’s lame attempt at this type of show, Design Star. That show made me feel like the most talented designer in the world, with the exception of the shirtless wonder* who made the great room out of pet store supplies.
Holly Becker’s decor8 blog is always a fun place to trade comments after the show. I’m not positive whether or not she’s doing it, but if she is, that’s a great place to participate, especially since I never seem to get many comments over here.
*I never really knew his name, he was simply the shirtless wonder.
