Happy Labor Day All! Try to spend some quality time today sticking it to the man. Or something like that.
Anyway, sometimes design information comes to you in the strangest places. I picked up Sky magazine on Delta this week out of sheer boredom and a desire to do some easy Soduku puzzles, and I found out that after ten years and a $46 million dollar renovation, The Musee des Arts Decoratifs in Paris will reopen its doors on September 15. According to Sky, the collection includes design objects from the 1940′s to the present, and ten period rooms. Sky suggested I go to www.lesartsdecoratifs.fr for more information, but I don’t know French and could not seem to figure out if and where there was an English version, so I hope you fare better than I did.

Thx for your fantastic site. Just wanted to let you know I checked out lesartsdecoratifs.fr and there’s no English version available. A map and outline of the project, exhibit schedules (all read pretty academically), etc but not in English.
