General, Preserving Modern Architecture, Real Rooms
Just a quick note to provide a link to some more interesting information about the modern masterpieces in New Canaan, Connecticut. Tom Anderson, author and blogger of Sphere, checked in to let me know that a few of these houses are currently on the market. I certainly hope that the modern architecture lovers will scoop them up and maintain the architectural integrity.
Incidently, Tom’s post linked me to fantastic blog I think a lot of you will find yourselves spending way too much time enjoying – Hot New Design. I was just doing a "quick email check," received Tom’s email, linked over to Sphere and then to Hot New Design, and well, that was over an hour ago! The subjects and photographs posted in this blog are stunning. The photo to the left is one of the many wonderful photos of the Mies Van Der Rohe’s Morris Greenwald House that are currently posted. This house is on the market, thought the taxes alone seem to be more than most people pay in a year’s worth of mortgage payments!
