I can’t help but pass on information that involves someone named D.J. Spooky. I have to say, I am very impressed with the NYC branch of AIA. I receive notices of upcoming events all the time, and they sound amazing. Hmmm, perhaps I should sign up for such notices in my own city so I can actually attend some of these things!
Anyway, this one sounds too interesting to pass up -

Side Note: Huh, I just googled "DJ Spooky" and figured out that his work was at the Venice Biennial that I attended in 2000. All I really remember from that event was one pavilion where we could all spy on each other – something to do with private spaces – it was all very prophetic and Big Brother-y and rather spooky considering the current government’s ability to spy on all of us.

How has he been flying under my radar for so long? I must be getting old!
