I admit it – I am a single woman in my 30’s and I have a cat. Don’t pity me – she’s my little princess and I love her. Unfortunately, her scratching toys are a stack of priority mail cardboard boxes (I think this might be classified as “misuse of a priority box”), and my wicker laundry basket. Her favorite sleeping spot has resulted in a disgusting cover of cat hair on my favorite upholstered chair.

Thank God for Elizabeth Paige Smith. She’s revolutionized cat furniture. Her Chaise Lounge, Kittypod, and Couchette are sleeker and more interesting than most of the people furniture I have in my own home. It sure beats the heck out of the wall-to-wall-carpet-covered scratching post. Trust me, you might be used to having that thing in your house, but it looks really BAD!
