Good point. I like to inject some fun and carefree attitude into my decorating. Some of the joys of childhood are exploring and having a naiveness about the world, which paves the way for originality of thought, expression, passion and imagination. I decorate with things that I love or that my kids love. But of course, I love great design regardless of who, what or where it came from.
